Response to "wild animals don't want to be owned"

When I read the title of this post, I thought 'hmm, this looks interesting.' now after reading this, I feel sad and angry. It's just not right to keep wild anima as pets, "tame" or not. They're WILD! They may seem tame, but they're still wild. Nothing, no matter how nice they seem, can change that. Some idiot's idiotic choice to set his "pet" bengal tigers free in his town, has resulted in the death of these tigers. They had no idea what was going on. The question is, why did this man even have these tigers as pets? They should have stayed wild.

Alright, since last post, I 've been trying to edit it......but blogger won't work like that. T.T Ah well. So I decided to do it in a separate post.

My topic for this essay was whales....the topic was given to me by mr hainstock, so I didn't have much choice in my topic.(which isn't to say I don't like whales, I do)

Purpose of a blog assignment

To entertain: Kimjongillookingatthings.tumble.com

I chose the blog Kimjongillookingatthings.tumble.com for entertainment
I chose this specific one because it is basically just pictures of a guy(who is obviously named Kim Jong il) looking at things, like rubber boots, apples , and cucumbers..... Obviously a lot of people follow this blog, since people are voting for the best picture. I'm quite confused as to what the purpose of these picture is, but I did get a good laugh out of some of them. My favorite was "Looking at a fish". This site is good for when you're down and want a laugh.

To entertain: 1000awesomethings.com

I chose 1000awesomethings.com for entertainment. I chose this blog because it is a bunch of random things that people think are awesome.......I see no point in it. For example, one "awesome thing" was when the little stringy things on a banana come of with the peel. Oookaayyy then. I liked "When you hear a smile over the phone". This site is good for when somebody is bored, because the random stuff is actually interesting.

To inform: www.bloglockers.com

I chose www.bloglockers.com for informative. I chose this blog, because it tells you all about The sports teams, for all the sports. I, for one, am not really that into sports, so this blog is not one that I would visit on a daily basis. For example, it has the final score/winner for a lot of professional league games. This is an excellent site for sport nuts, witch I am not.

To inform: engadget.com

I chose this blog for information. It gives a lot of information on brand new technology, and news on stuff like phone contracts. It also gives reviews on stuff like iPads and cellphones. I personally don't really enjoy stuff like that, but a technology freak might. I Like reading reviews on earbuds, as mine are nine dollar junk, and I'm planning on getting new ones. Check it out, you could like it.

to inform: lifehacker.com

i chose lifehacker.com for this category. i chose it because it pretty much helps you get things done. things as in almost everything. for example, there is "make a tablet-friendly paintbrush" it makes no sense to me why that is important, but i'm not the author, so it doesnt affect me. i dont like the layout, i find it confusing. if you're someone who needs help with anything and everything, check this out.

to persuade: weblog.greenpeace.org

i chose greenspace.org for persuasion-type blog. i chose it for this, because to overall mesage seems to be trying to get you to become more "green" and to speak out against environmental injustice. i dont mind doing those things, but it takes alot of people to change things. for example, there is something along the lines of "japan protests at re-opening of it's nuclear facilities. that is something to speak up against, for sure.

i couldnt find another one for pursuasion, sorry!
